Pro Window Tinting started because we kept seeing the same problem around Calgary: cheap tint jobs that looked fine for six months, then turned purple, started bubbling, or peeled away entirely. We figured if we were going to do this, we would only use film that actually lasts through Alberta winters — and that meant becoming an authorized 3M dealer.
We are one of a small number of shops in the province certified to install genuine 3M Automotive Window Film. It is the same product line used on NASCAR vehicles, and it comes with a real manufacturer warranty — not just a handshake. We chose 3M because after testing everything else on the market, nothing else held up the same way when it is minus 30 outside.
We run two locations — one near Chinook Centre and one at Deerfoot City — and we also do mobile installs if it is easier for you to have us come out. Every vehicle gets computer-cut film patterns (no freehand blade work on your glass), and our bays are dust-controlled so nothing gets trapped under the film during installation.
Over the years we have tinted everything from daily commuters to high-end exotics, dealership inventory, and commercial fleets. The process is the same regardless of the vehicle: thorough prep, precise installation, and a 10-year warranty on every job. We do not rush installs, we do not use off-brand film, and we do not cut corners to save twenty minutes.
We carry the full 3M Automotive line — Crystalline, Color Stable, FX Premium. Genuine product, manufacturer warranty, no grey-market film.
Mobile installs at your home, office, or dealership lot. Same tools, same process, same warranty as an in-shop job.
Covers bubbling, peeling, cracking, and discolouration. If something goes wrong with the film, we replace it — period.
Chinook and Deerfoot City — both easy to get to. Book online, pick your time, and we handle it from there. Most installs take about 2.5 hours.
Window tinting is what we built our name on, but most customers end up coming back for other work too. We install paint protection film (PPF) to guard against rock chips on hoods, bumpers, and fenders. We apply ceramic coatings that make washing easier and keep paint looking new for years. And we handle commercial window film for offices, storefronts, and restaurants that need heat rejection or privacy without replacing their glass.
If you drive in Calgary, you already know what gravel season does to a front end. And you know how brutal the sun gets through an untinted windshield in July. That is the kind of everyday wear we help people prevent — before it turns into a respray or an interior replacement.
We work with individual car owners, new and used dealerships, fleet managers, and body shops across the city. If you have a question about what film or service makes sense for your vehicle, call us at (403) 891-5980 or book through the site. We will give you a straight answer, not a sales pitch.
