Truck Tinting — Built for Alberta's Work and Play Trucks
Regular cab, extended cab, crew cab, or SuperCrew — we have precision-cut patterns for every truck configuration on the road.
Many trucks have rear sliding windows. We can tint sliders without affecting operation, including the glass and the fixed portions.
Work trucks with tools, equipment, and materials benefit from darker rear tint that hides contents from opportunistic theft.
3M films are tested to withstand extreme temperature cycling (-40°C to +80°C), making them ideal for trucks that live outdoors year-round in Alberta.
Calgary is truck country. Between the oil field workers, trades professionals, ranchers, and outdoor enthusiasts, trucks are everywhere — and they spend a lot of time parked in the sun. Whether you drive an F-150 for work, a RAM 1500 as your daily, or a Tacoma for weekend adventures, window tinting improves comfort, protects the interior, and adds privacy for gear storage.
Trucks present a few unique tinting considerations compared to sedans and SUVs. Cab configurations vary widely, many trucks have rear sliding windows, and some have specialty glass (extended mirrors, tow mirrors, etc.). We’ve tinted thousands of trucks in Calgary and have patterns for every major make, model, and cab style.

Rear sliding windows: Most half-ton and heavy-duty trucks offer a rear sliding window option. We can tint the sliding and fixed portions of these windows. The film is applied to the interior surface and does not affect the slider mechanism. On power sliders, we verify operation after installation.
Cab configuration affects pricing: A regular cab truck with only 3 glass pieces (rear + 2 fronts) costs significantly less than a crew cab with 6–7 pieces. Our standard pricing applies to crew cab trucks (the most common configuration). Regular and extended cab trucks with fewer windows may cost less — contact us for details.
Work truck vs. personal truck: Work trucks that carry tools and equipment often benefit from maximum privacy on the rear (5–20% VLT) to deter theft. Personal trucks typically go with a moderate rear tint (20–35%) for a balanced look. Either way, we recommend at least 35% VLT on the front windows for UV protection and heat rejection.
Heavy-duty trucks: F-250/350, RAM 2500/3500, and Silverado/Sierra HD trucks are physically larger and may require additional film material for the larger glass panels, especially the windshield. These are quoted individually.
